Help me choose a monitor to buy

So, I just got my GTX 970 and 1 week before it arrived my monitor said goodbye...
I had an 24' LG
Now I'm using a 42' LG TV
Needless to say it looks impressive size-wise but I have to replace the old monitor, or my gf will kill me :p

1. What Is Your Country Of Origin?

2. What do you plan to do with this monitor? (ex. Games, Movie Watching, Photo Editing, etc.)

3. What resolution and screen size do you want?

1920x1080 or better
4. What refresh rate do you want? (ex. 60 hz , 70 hz.)

up to 400-500 euros hopefully

One that will last for at least 5 years :D

It is gtx970, latest drivers. Won't use more than 1 display
10. What Port Do You Want To Connect To (ex. DVI-D, HDMI, etc).
The card has HDMI, DL-DVI-D, DL-DVI-I (whatever is best ?)
11. Is This Monitor A Primary Display Or A Secondary Display?

P.S. On a side-note: I'm guessing TV screens are out of the question with gaming in mind, am I right ?
