help me choose a new hard drive please

i need a new one since the sata connection is extremely loose on my current Samsung spinpoint, and today it came off again and it took a while to figure that out and thats why i was a getting a read disk error and my hdd no longer showing up in my bios.

i cant decide between these 2

also for future reference, what would you recommend as a back up solution? a normal hard drive, or external/portable drive?

WD Black , and I use internal HDD's and the cloud for backups.

Go with the Western Digital Black, that HDD Is usually more reliable, although can't say that seagate isn't reliable also.
