I think you might want to shop for a 2x8GB 'kit' not 2 sticks of 8GB separate.

I thought you'd recognize that I made another post earlier regarding issues with new ram sticks where you replied. So there you also said that I should ve bought a kit but i said they are consecutive nos.

You bought 2 single sticks which may or may not be a match.
I'm pointing to a kit.
It may have nothing to do with your problem but it gets it out of the mix.
