I have a budget of ~>110$ and i need a good video card for FSX

Here are my specs -

Windows 7 Ultimate
Processor: Intel® Core™ i5-2300 2.80GHz
Ram: 4GB
System type: 64-bit
Video card: ATI Radeon™ HD 5450 512MB
Intel DH67BL Motherboard (PCIe 2.0)

FSX is running with ~9 FPS when using scenerys and good airplanes.

I am planning on buying the ASUS Nvidia Geforce GT 630 2GB PCIe 2.0

Not the best, but definetely better than a 5450. And better than a 630, comparable to the gtx 650.

I have a PCIe 2.0 motherboard and i don't want to replace my power supply, I also have a second monitor connected via VGA. My 5450 runs on a 400WAT poer spply.

Any ideas?

A 400W PSU is really good for that card. Could you just tell me the brand of the psu?

And a PCI 3.0 card will work on PCI 2.0 it's backwards compatible and you don't loose anything. Even a gtx680 on 2.0 literally performs 1fps lower than 3.0.

You won't need to upgrade anything as long as you have a decent PSU.

I can't tell... It says TOTAL - 450W,

My ATI Radeon HD 5450 works good and it requires a 400W PSUP.

So this card will work?

It's PCIe 3.0 and requires 400W power supply.

my nearby computer store says it won't work.

You won't get any increase in performance from a 5450 to a r7 240. It's a REALLY weak card. I'd reccomend the 7770 as said before.

You need 1 6-pin PSU PCI cable to make it work. You can look up your PSU by opening the case and looking in it. It would really help to see what it is.

The 7770 doesn't have a VGA for my second monitor. The PSU model and brand are hidden under the top cover and it's hard to see it.

So your monitor only has a VGA input...?

You can just buy a DVI-vga adapter. You should also get one free with your 7770. This really isn't a problem. Just locate a 6-pin connector for the GPU. Your PSU should have atleast 1.

Here if you wanna buy it seperately:

Never mind. I didn't notice that the 7770 is a Dual-DVI card. I will buy it. But it must be XFX? Because i can't find anywhere in my country the exact card. Only Gigabyte, Asus and MSI and they are very expensive.
