Hello everyone, first of all English is not my mother tongue so i hope you understand what i say. Also i got no idea if this is the right place to post about activity trackers so if i'm in the wrong place, please move this thread to the correct one.

So, in a few weeks time i will buy an activity tracker and for so many months, i've been stuck on 2 specific activity trackers. The 1st one is the Samsung Galaxy Fit 2 and the other one the Xiaomi Mi Band 6 and i'm stuck on which one to buy. I've seen both of their specs ofc, i've seen multiple videos about them and i'm still indecisive. I will mainly use the activity tracker for everyday use (tracking sleep, gym, school, heart rate, steps) etc etc. The main drawback of the Fit 2 is that it's heart rate is not always correct and it shows like 10-30bpm lower or higher that what it should be. I found that to be kinda true because let me explain, my brother owns a Fit 2 and i used his Fit 2 for like 30 mins while i was doing some pushups to see specifically what the heart rate reported. So, the heart rate was indeed incorrect for the first like 30 seconds but after 30 seconds had passed, the heart rate was rising to the close correct amount so basically it just takes time to report the actual heart rate (around 30secs or so) and i find that to be kinda a bummer cuz i don't think someone would be waiting and be like "come on rise for god's sake".

Xiaomi's heart rate however was quick and giving accurate numbers (from what i've seen in video reviews) and i like that because i cannot wait for like 30sec for the Fit 2 to report the correct numbers, i'd want that quick response.

I could go on and on about both of those trackers but that would be a hella big of a thread so no.

What do you guys think, which one should i go for? I will not accept a reply of someone saying "go for that tracker" without giving me a good explanation of why to buy that tracker so i would like a detailed reply to see what you guys got to say. And no i don't have a problem with my money so all good on that part. Thank you!

Edit: Now i noticed that the Mi Band 6 was released this year in March and i was talking about the Mi Band 5 all the time and i thought i was writing for the Mi Band 5 in this post... Ah well. Just saw some vids on the Fit 2 and Band 6 and the Band 6 takes the win i think but i wanna hear your thoughs since i'm at the end of the post and i don't wanna let that go to waste, tell me your thoughts about the Fit 2 and Mi Band 6. Thanks once again

If you intend to use it as watch replacement, I can tell you - it's not going to be comfortable for long use.
Silicone strap material doesn't allow skin to breathe. It's possible to even develop a skin rash.

I'd suggest getting a smart watch with replaceable metal or leather band instead. It is way more comfortable.
Leather on sports watch doesn't last very long though. Metal is the best.
But it obviously costs more than a simple activity tracker.

Hello SkyNet thanks for your reply!

Also thanks for the suggestion, don't get me wrong though this smartwatch looks sick but it's out way of my budget meaning that i got the money to buy that kind of smartwatch but honestly i don't really need THAT kind of smartwatch. I am not a watch type of person in general and i have properly wore a watch when i was back in elementary school (like 8+ years ago, currently 18) and since then i last wore a watch. So me buying a full on smartwatch when an activity tracker can do what the smartwatch can do, that for me is a waste of money. I did not make this post for a watch replacement since i never wear watches so i just wanna use a simple activity tracker that won't break my bank account and i know that will do the job just fine.

And plus, the band straps on activity trackers especially on those 2, they are changeable so if one gets worn out, i can buy a strap so yeah
