so i cant makeup my mind. im not looking for top level performance for what i can afford because i have 50k. what im looking for is just enough for what i need. and what i need is 60fps 1080p high-very high settings with 95% of current titles... and for the near future like at least a year from now. i dont mind turning down to medium on occasion on some certain settings which dont totally ruin the looks of the games.. but im not willing to play on lows, or use 720 anymore, as it would defeat the purpose of my entire system. i believe that the 1600, 1660 would suit my purposes fine, so im pretty sure i have written off the 1660 ti as an option, as i believe that its simply excessive for my requirements. i see the 1660 as the perfectly balanced, low power, 1080p 60fps medium-high settings budget card... and i see the 1660 ti as the slightly overpowered and lower value, 1080p/1440p high refresh/ultra ultra settings card. i even considered the 1650 as a low cost, power saving alternative for 1080p 60fps medium settings... but its got a much lower value than the 1660.

and then we have the ryzen question. the 1600 is currently a much greater value and is only slightly less powerful than the 2600 and it comes with a more expensive cooler. the only drawback i can think of is in super cpu intensive games or games where i am generally struggling to produce desired fps results and need the 5-9 fps difference that the 2600 would possibly give me. but i think the 1600 should be plenty good enough for the next couple of years?

well you save 30-40 dollars. the cpu is only like 10% better tops but its like 26% more expensive i believe. so if the 1600 can do the job, then ive hit a point of diminishing returns and am simply wasting my money as i only need 60-70 fps because im using a 60hz monitor. by your logic, i would simply buy the most powerful parts available to me as i can afford them, but thats simply not the purpose of my build. im only looking for 60-70fps 1080p high settings.
