While browsing online for deals on rx 480's i got two great deals

1. A reference visiontek rx 480 (8GB) (Refurbished) - https://www.visiontek.com/graphics-cards/radeon-rx480-polaris-edition-8gb-gddr5-402-detail.html#system-requirements

2. A powercolor red dragon rx 480 (4GB) (New) - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814131706&ignorebbr=1&nm_mc=AFC-C8Junction&cm_mmc=AFC-C8Junction-_-na-_-na-_-na&cm_sp=&AID=11552995&PID=8155920&SID=

which one is better.. I feel the 8GB is a strong point for the reference one but is it being a reference edition weaker than the other ...(And it is refurbished ) ? Appreciate the help guys!

Assuming you'd pay the $180 listed on both of them? What about shipping etc? The 'end cost' is what'll matter most.

Either are good buys - the 8GB should give you some longevity, and is more capable at higher resolutions.

The Powercolor card should run a little cooler than the reference, but probably not by a whole lot with it's single fan.

I wouldn't worry too much about refurbished, provided it comes with a half-decent warranty?

The cheapest 8GB (non-reference) I can find is Gigabyte's G1 Gaming.....at $235 and, while it'll likely run a little cooler, that's a 30% price premium (assuming no shipping on the VisionTek)
