My kid is going to highschool and will need a Windows laptop.
All things considdered I will probably buy a laptop twice in her schoolcareer.
For now I'm looking at 2 14"models that fall in my budget, or at least in a budget I find to be reasonable for a school laptop.
I doubt she'll need more, and school says she needs even less.
I've put the main points in the table below. Both laptops are FHD, 256GB SSD, 8GB Ram (either 2x4 or 1x8, respectively)
Any details I should look at between these two?
Drawn to the Vivobook Go because of the quad-core Ryzen, DDR5 (though it's soldered), the supposedly better build quality and the lower weight, but maybe there's more to it.
The x415 has wifi 6, bluetooth 5 instead of 4.1 and 2 memory slots instead of 1 (maybe useful for dual channel?) with the option to upgrade to 16GB
Maybe I'm overlooking something?
Any tips would be appreciated. In the end I just have to make a choice
