Hello,

Building a new gaming rig soon and I need advice on the motherboard. Here is what I'm gonna need:

Z170 1151 socket for i5 6600K

ATX form factor

At least one M.2 32 Gb/s socket. A second one for future upgrade is a plus, not essential though.

USB 3.1, with one type C. If it could be on front panel, it's a big plus, but does that even exist?

Room for at least 2 3.5 SATA drives (HDD & optical drive).

SLI support for future upgrade is a plus.

High speed quality ethernet. Don't know about having 2 LAN ports, how does it help? Anyway I have only one ethernet cable coming from the box to the PC since they are far away. I have an ethernet hub but in the end all will go through the same cable.

Wifi is a plus, not essential.

Good 2.1 sound quality. 5.1/7.1 not required, I'd rather have better 2.1 sound than 5.1.

I'm new to overclocking but I wanna try so I'd like a reliable and easy to use OC, no need to be top-notch as I won't push for records.

Budget: max $200ish

Any advice?

Thanks!

Asus Z170 Pro Gaming is excellent board with decent (above average) sound.
Multi M.2 boards are closer to 300 USD, but you can always use PCIe adapter to expand the M.2 drives.
