Help me choose the best configuration for my new pc

HI

I sold my pc few days ago, so now I'm looking for something new.So far I have made 2 config on part-picker and is hard for me to decide

The first one is based on z97:

Both configuration are within my budget of 1050 pound(UK), the only difference in term of budget is that I'm not buying a graphic card as I would like to wait for a lower price and more memory(Vram). With the z97 I will be able to buy a 980 sooner rather then later but I'm a patient guy, for now I will be using a 460 gtx for gaming(my previous pc had a 780 windforce)

I use my pc for entertainment purpose including gaming(1080p 60fps ultra when possible) and general web browsing, the prospect of a new pc could interest me in some overclok(never done before) .
For now I'm going towards the x99 platform simply because is newer and the asus motherboard( I will be going with the asus pro or S when I can find them as there are not on part picker) looks great!The extra cost for the i7 5820 is fine but I don't want something that might perform worse then the cheaper option for what I do considering that the i7 4760k is clocked higher, if they perform the same then for me is down the looks and maybe practicality(consumption, problems,part availability etc)

What is your advice and opinion?

There isn't any new gpu's coming out for the next few months i think, but z97 is better

I read in several article that the 980 8gb should come soon after the 980 4gb release, also I'm looking for a gigabyte GHz edition so I will wait for the graphic card.
Regards to the cpu, will i get less fps with the 5820? Will the high CaS of the ram(ddr4) be a limiting factor in performance?

I have decided to go with the x99 platform as is not too much extra and I do some heavy multitasking with Adobe photoshop and wow or ff14 in the background waiting for raid, I also like the colour scheme of black and white of the motherboard.

It has been a log time since I have built my previous pc which mean I need some help from you experienced guys.
First is there anything you would change in the x99 build ?
I choose a corsair h100i and I would like to know where should I position the water block, top(exhaust) or front(intake) of the case?
Also should the fans of the cooler be on the top of the water block or at the bottom?(back or front if position at the bottom front)
What is the difference between Sata express and m2? From what I understand m2 is for laptop or small pc, so I should only use Sata express....or sata6?
I will buy a corsair 750d as I like the simple but elegant look of the case,I unfortunately saw a picture of the case with the DVD drive at the front and to me it looks quite bad, I kinda need a DVD drive, is there a way to hide the DVD drive somewhere or doing something to mod the DVD to look as the rest of the front fascia?

ahhh okay
Place h100i at the top, and fans will be facing bottom If i'm not mistaken, sata 3 wilkl be fine for normal ssd and there is a case with a dvd flap but I forgot which case, try the 450D or 650D
