Hi,
I recently got a HP prebuilt (TG01-2002in) and it has a single stick of 16GB RAM and I was looking to upgrade and I couldn't find the exact RAM installed in it in the market.
The RAM installed is a Samsung CL22 ( M378A2K43EB1-CWE ) 1x16GB
Alternatives I found
Crucial CT16G4DFD832A (dual-ranked) : Specs
Crucial CT16G4DFRA32A (either single or dual ranked) : Specs
Amazon says CT16G4DFRA32A is the latest one but the description says that this stick can either come in single or dual rank. Whereas CT16G4DFD832A is dual ranked. View: https://imgur.com/49ZwwTa

I think I should go with the first one. I was not sure which one to go with since both were similar and hence seeking the help of you guys.
Thanks.
Also It would be great if someone could breakdown the crucial RAM naming mechanism so I can know the exact differences between both the crucial models mentioned above.
P.S : Current RAM -> View: https://imgur.com/a/nsjnsUA

Welcome to the forums, newcomer!

You should buy two stick of ram from either of the two links you've listed above. I'd advise against mixing and matching rams on any build. Also, could you fire up CPU-Z and see what the chipset motherboard you have on your prebuilt?

So the board does not support XMP and hence some guys told me to go with CL22 ones so that it would run at 3200Mhz. I don't know much about RAM timings so I'm looking for someone to help me out with this.

P.s: Thanks for the warm welcome.
