Help me complete this build

What I need help with: I Need advice building a new PC. I currently have an old AM2 board which is sporting an AMD 64x2 6000 CPU and is running on Microsoft Vista. The boot uptimes are unacceptably slow, vista is no longer supported and I feel it is time to upgrade. Anyone disagree?

Needs / Plans for use: Multipurpose computer plus would like to do some 1080P gaming. I don't need cutting edge technology. Just a good system to run most games on the market. I want to say upfront that I am not opposed to Intel. However I at the moment I believe the FX8320 will provide the most bang for my buck for my needs.

Overclocking: maybe

SLI or Crossfire: No

When: I plan to purchase this weekend or by the end of next week at the absolute latest

Parts I currently have:
- 8GB of GSkill Ripjaws Ram
- Corsair 600CX power supply
- 1080P monitor
- HD6870 (for now)
- Speakers
- Keyboard & mouse
- Micro ATX Case

Need help selecting these components (please post suggestions)

I would consider a more upscale motherboard

Although more expensive, this seagate HDD: http://www.amazon.com/dp/B005T3GRN2/?tag=pcpapi-20 Will keep your data more secure than the Hitachi. Hitachi doesn't make bad HDD's so don't get me wrong there but the Seagate will be better for sure. Now I would personally spend $50 more and get an i5-4460 with a DS2V but since you are on a budget, the 8320 will and should be good enough. 4460 will beat it at everything though. The CX600 PSU that you have is of poor quality and I highly recommend changing it.

I am closing this thread. Upon my research since yesterday I have realized that AMD is a whole lot more uncompetitive than I had originally thought. It is pathetic they only have a single microatx motherboard with a 900 series chipset. Or in other words...only one micro-atx motherboard with 6.0 SATA ports.

As a result of this I can no longer consider them as an option. Sad as I have bought from them over the past 15 years almost exclusively.

Now as painful as it is to wait a month or so I realize the best option for my future is SKYLAKE. I also see myself in the future switching my graphic options to Nvidia as I now see they are clearly better. The press event for the R9 300 series was disappointing to say the least.

Selecting MasterDell as the best answer. Thank you for taking the time to respond.
