Help me create a gaming rig out of this.

Okay, as a replacement for a broken laptop, i decided to buy an HP P7-1254 (http://h10025.www1.hp.com/ewfrf/wc/document?cc=us&lc=en&dlc=en&docname=c03135882) , because of its affordable price. Im quite happy with its standard performance. The problem lies in gaming. I have been playing lots of different titles on PC lately. Arma 2, BF3, Just cause, Or even as simple as terraria. My PC just isn't cutting it. I Often try to record my game play, but that is obviously not going to work. I get low frame-rates on the lowest video settings. Basically I am asking you knowledgeable gurus to help me upgrade this to be the best it possibly can be. I have little to no knowledge about these things, so please try to keep it all in simple terms. Money is no object. I have a job so I can most likely handle whatever you guys throw at me. However If it would be cheaper to build a whole new rig. let me know what and how

Since money is no object for you and you are a gamer, i'd recommend for you to build a whole new rig, just like what i'm doing (still haven't finished yet, need to buy a few more parts). but if you are willing to build a whole new rig from scratch, i'd recommend you to get ASUS R.O.G. motherboard series.

Your PC just isn't gaming material.It's good as a Office PC or a Home Theatre PC but it's definetly not a gaming PC.
If you wan't to play games on your PC then you need to buy a new one.The only things you can reuse in the new PC are it's DVD Drive and Hard Disk Drive.(No Not even the RAM)

also im pretty sure slith121 understood you wrong.Im pretty sure that by money is no object you didn't mean Unlimited Budget.

Im not really sure what your expectations are when it comes to gaming but im pretty sure maxing out games isn't really your priority.

Note that the PC's im showing you aren't pre-built so you have to do all the work yourself.Or you could just pay someone to do it for you.Either way it's going to be much much better than a pre-built PC for 2K USD.

In my opinion you need a PC that will play every game at High settings at a decent price and this one is just that.

well, you're not wrong, with that build you'd be able to get at least 35-40+ fps on almost any game. the build is almost similar to mine though mine isn't finished yet
