I have a budget of 300$ and I would like the best gaming performance monitor I can afford

I have a gtx 1070, i5 7600k, 16gb ram

What do u think of the Samsung G5, I found it second hand for 230$,
I've seen a lot of people hating on it but do you know if it is actually that bad

1440p freesync premium, curved though. Limited HDR. Not a fan of curved screens, but that is up to you really. For the price I don't think you can beat that, but might ask the seller why he is getting rid of it.

I also run 1440p 144hz on a GTX1080, there are a few games that certainly push it to the limit.

IMO it's a rare thing to find a Samsung monitor that isn't all it is supposed to be within it's segment and price (even if a bit high priced based on reputation). That price seems pretty darned good. I would want to see that one on, and in use, for sure. I also echo @Eximo about asking "why"?
