Hey folks, Im in the market for a new monitor and am having a hard time deciding which one to go for. Im currently running an Asus VE246H TN panel that I purchased in 2010 and while it has served faithfully for 8 years, I couldnt help but to notice a massive visual quality difference an $80 microcenter special had over it when I purchased that for my lady's little one.
My requirements are as follows:
VA or IPS Panel
1920x1080 resolution
Under $250
Nice to have a greater than 60hz refresh rate
My pertinent system specs are as follows:
Asus Strix X370-F Gaming
Ryzen 7 1700
G-Skill RGB 16GB DDR4 3200
eVGA GTX 1060 3GB
Primary usage is gaming, youtubing and a bit of office work. Some of the models I have looked at are:
Samsung LC24F396
ASUS Designo MX259H
Samsung C24FG70
