i am sorry I cant run a search, I am currently traveling and I have no time

I am about to buy an LCD monitor.
I was thinking about the viewsonic VX2235wm 22" widescreen.
But the guy at the store told me the samsung 205 BW 20" is a better option since it comes already with HDCP, which i dont know what it is, whereas the viewsonic doesnt'.
They are almost the same price but the viewsonic is bigger.

I will be using an Asus Geforce 7900 Gs

my questions are, what is HDCP and what additional things in terms of queality will give me once with Windows Vista?
Is it worth to buy the 20" just because it has this feature and missing the 2 extra inches??

Both look awesome quality, but i dont know what to do about this HDCP thing.....

thanks in advance !

If you want a good HDCP-compliant 22" widescreen display, try Samsung's 225BW. That's what I bought recently and I couldn't be more pleased. No problem in high-speed games. I also considered the Viewsonic, but settled for the Samsung specifically because of HDCP.

HDCP = High-Bandwidth Digital Content Protection, is a scheme created to try to eliminate piracy with high resolution content, such as BluRay and HDDVD movies. Playing BluRay and HDDVD media at full 1080p resolution will be imposible if ALL your components (media, player, display, connectors) are not HDCP compliant.
