Help me decide on a MB

To ALL,
After a lot of research, decided to buy an Asus P8Z77-V LK. I have always bought Asus and never needed their support. Which means I did not know how bad it likely is according to everything I read.
waited too long and now the P8Z77-V LK is discontinued and can't find a new one at reasonable price.
So, I am asking for advice as I have only bought Asus.
I also like the LAF1155 for my needs, but that too appears to be obsolete.
Here are my intentions:
1x Samsung 840 PRO, 250 Pro, 256GB
for OS and Applications
1x Seagate 1TB Solid State Hybrid (ST1000DX001
for all other storage
1x Intel Core i5-3570K Quad-Core Processor 3.4 GHz 4 Core LGA 1155 - BX80637I53570K
16GB Corsair Vengeance 16GB (2x8GB) DDR3 1600 MH CMZ16GX3M2A16​00C10
I know this is over kill as I will be doing little gaming, but I am comfortable with overkill as it leaves my options for use open. I build a new computer about every 5-7 years
Also, would like advice on a quiet power supply and required wattage
All help is appreciated GREATLY !!!
I would like to deal with a MB company with Asus's known quality MINUS the "tech support SUCKS factor. I know this is asking the unreasonable.

I just got a Asrock extreme 4 Z77 to replace my failing board and it seams to be a good board no problems at all and overclocked my i5 2500K right back to 5.0.

Thanks. I may be changing my mind and moving onto Z97 as I want to use a Samsung M.2 SSD for boot/applications and hybrid for all else. I see your level is MB Expert - do you have any idea if an Asus Z97-Pro or Asus Z97 Deluxe can be configured (and work) to provide max transfer rate the M.2 is capable of?

First you got to buy a true M.2 SSD those a very expensive, not just a SSD that has the m.2 form factor.
I know the Pro has a onboard m.2.
Using hybrid drives for storage is not going to really help your performance their just help for programs you use a lot.

Do you know if the Asus Z97-Pro with Samsung XP421 M.2 SSD: Can you install Windows 8 on it and boot from it?
