The CPU is still quite good, I'd probably spend it on a GPU and possibly PSU depending on what you have currently.

If your current PSU is good then I'd grab this.

PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant

Video Card: EVGA - GeForce RTX 2070 8 GB XC BLACK EDITION GAMING Video Card ($499.90 @ Amazon)
Total: $499.90
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

thanks for the reply
my PSU is
SeaSonic - M12II EVO 850 W 80+ Bronze

also, it seems that the card you suggested is only PCIEx X8 and not 16

Ok so the PSU is fine.

What do you mean X8 & X16? That card will run at X16 in the top PCIE slot of your motherboard.

yeah but at amazon they say it only support 8 lanes and will not use the full 16 lanes of the motherboard, unlike other 2070 cards.

Also i have an asus VP247QG gaming monitor so it is using freesync / adaptive sync.
should i go with AMD card? or 2070 will still be better?

Oh I see now, it's a mistake in the comparison charts... like the Asus STRIX 2070 would run at X4.... lol. There all X16 unless there's a limitation on the motherboard which there isn't for yours.

Considering you can use Nvidia GPU's with Freesync monitors I'd still take the 2070 over the Vega 64 as it's a bit better performance wise.

Thanks for the advice.
Is there another card you would suggest?
And also there seems to be like 8 flavors of 2070 rtx on Newegg, what are the difference between them, like what the XC stands for?
