Hey guys, need some help.

Should I upgrade my gpu?
Should I upgrade my processor?
Should I simply rebuilt a pc?
Should I just overclock?

My goal is to hit over 60 fps in ultra in modern games such as rainbow six siege. That's the game I'm on and hooked like a crack feen.

My rig right now is :
550 psu
Intel i5 760 @ like 2.8 ghz boosted to 3.33
Asus 760 direct II oc @ 2gb
1 terabyte hd no clue of spec
8gb of ram no clue of spec
Casing is nothing special
Mobo no clue

I don't really have a budget but I don't want to invest too much either due to the fact that I'm starting a company.

Thanks in advance..

the line of gaming amd processors is pretty out of date at this point.

skylake provides minimal improvement over haswell. i'd say the choice solely depends on your budget. haswell will still be relevant for plenty time to come.

i could give you a recommendation if you can give me the actual model of all your parts, on pcpartpicker, and your budget for the upgrade/new system.

for your ultra 60fps goal, i'd personally recommend scrapping most of it and starting fresh.

you'll want at least:
-i5 4th gen or newer with a matching mobo, preferably h97 for a non overclocking version.
-gtx 970/r9 390 or higher.
-8gb 1600mhz ddr3 or 8gb 2133mhz ddr4 depending on the i5 generation.
-possibly new psu depending on the quality of your current one and your gpu selection/power requirements.

you could possibly keep:
-your hard drive, if it passes testing and is at least 7200rpm. to test you can google: western digital data lifeguard diagnostics.
-your case

Should I futurproof with the 6th gen i5 6600 or get something like the 4 gen? Also is amd a good choice? In my neck of the woods people don't like amd much. Want your opinion if so which one is worth looking into? Thanks a million. I have done my research but I want to be 100% this going to be my first built.
