I would like upgrade my current system. I don't know if that would be cost effective or even that big of upgrade. Any suggestions or ideas would be appreciated.
I will start a new build if upgrades will not help.
I would like to play the upcoming Battlefield and would like to start learning to Video edit my Gopro stuff.

Current Build:
*MB: Asus M5 A97 R2.0
*CPU: AMD FX 6100 3.30
*GPU: AMD Radeon HD7850
*RAM: 8GB
*PS: CX750
*Running Windows 10

First time posting. Let me know if I missed any needed information.

thanks

Pretty solid core components there, I just got a 1060 and find it's perfect for 1080p gaming but the 1070 would give you a bit more of a life span. I don't think you can go far wrong with something like 16gb DDR4, 480gb SSD and a decent PSU. That setup would have you happy at 1440p for a long time.
Personally I would build a new system from scratch, you could keep the case and drives from the old system if it saves you a bit of money. What is your budget? I am sure someone could suggest a build vs whatever you're thinking of buying off the shelf.

Thank you. Just did not know if I could upgrade and get another year or two. To play games like Battlefield 1 or Fallout 4.

I have been looking at building a system around the i5 6600k and the GTX1070.
