Hi I want an advice and suggestion for my build .

I have found these low end b660 mobos fitting my budget from aliexpress

ASROCK B660M-HDV DDR4
MSI PRO B660M-E DDR4
MSI PRO B660M-G DDR4

And then I found this high end b560m motherboard for the same price as these low end above b660 motherboards

"MSI MAG B560 MORTAR WIFI DDR4"
" Gigabyte B560m Aorus Elite DDR4"
" ASUS TUF GAMING PLUS/WIFI DDR4"

NOTE : !!!!!!!!!!
__
For B560m I will go with i5 10400F CPU

For B660m I will go with i3 12100F CPU

What do you think? should I go with low end B660 or that high End B560m MSI ?

If b660 pick what's the best one for me from the above

NOTE :
__
If b660 I might upgrade later on to an i5 12400 or I7 keep that in mind

NOTE I will use mobo for gaming of course

So what should I do the above are my only options . I go with b560 ? Check what is my options above
Low end boards are low end, it is what its is. If you are an intense gamer, you should avoid them. If you are a casual gamer, then you might as well get by it, then again it might struggle with too much load on demanding games, because they lack adequate counter measures.
There is a bit of performance difference between 10400 and 12400. So, if it was me I would avoid a dead platform since 12th gen. boards should support next gen. as well. My best advice would be to save some more and go for a better b660.
Personally go for the best B660 motherboard you can afford as you will be on 12th Gen and the upgrade path will always be better up to Raptor Lake in the future....

Start first with the processor you want to run.
For gaming, the i3-12100/F is a better choice for gaming.
While it only has 8 threads, that is not so important for gaming.
Games rarely make effective use of more than 4-6 threads.
The key is the single thread performance of the 12100 is some 40% faster than the 12 thread 10400.

Of the three B660 motherboards, I would pick the MSI PRO B660M-E DDR4

But, I would look for a motherboard with a more robust vrm cooler and perhaps an extra 4 pin power connector like the
MSI PRO B660M-A ddr4:

One last thing, consider the non F cpu option.
The extra $25 or so you pay is good insurance should you ever have a gpu issue.

I wouldn't get anything less, than this combo. The VRM's are pretty good, for such a cheap board.

PCPartPicker Part List

CPU: Intel Core i3-12100F 3.3 GHz Quad-Core Processor ($108.95 @ B&H)
Motherboard: MSI PRO B660M-A DDR4 Micro ATX LGA1700 Motherboard ($139.99 @ Amazon)
Total: $248.94
Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available

unfortunately the above b660 are the only motherboards in the website that I can afford what is your suggestions for me

I live in a country that doesn't have open markets to get what I want that's why I am limited to these ones . Also price ...

Do I go with a low end above b660 if yes which one if no which b560

I mean if price was good I found a b660 msi mortar wifi but too expensive . I am limited to the mentioned above boards.

About cpu yes I can get non F version .

Is this low end b660's better than high end b560 ?

Do not pick a B560 motherboard since it does not allow you to use a 12th gen chip which are some 15-20% stronger for gaming.

The B660 motherboards you listed will support even a I9-12900KS at some level.
There is nothing really cheap about them.
12100 is not a hot or power hungry processor that needs a high end motherboard or cooling to get the most out of it.
For gaming, I think your next upgrade would be for graphics way before you needed a cpu upgrade.

I am aiming for 750ti 2gb and ddr4 3200mhz . Now the board what I am stuck with

I know the gpu is obsolete but it's what I am aiming for right now

Yes .
What about the mobo im stuck with it b660 from above with. No vrms or b560 11th gen mobo
Well, for starters, the ASRock board is a no go...

Could not find any credible reviews for the MSI boards yet.

Let me repeat, 12th gen bought new is going to be a stronger processor.
bought used, you may get a decent value.
B660 is fine.
And, do not go cheap on the psu.
Buy only a quality unit with a decent 7 to 10 year warranty.
I already have a corsair psu vx 550

I will get a used cpu i3 12100 if I go with b660 . But as I said will this msi pro-g or msi pro-g will be good buy ? They got no vrm at all

By the way I have another option it's Soyo z690 and Soyo b660 classic

Yes I did check this video . By the way I have another option . It's Soyo b660 and z690 or msi pro-g or msi pro-e
That's the list of b660 I can go.

*While no longer operational in USA and Taiwan, most of the assets were shipped to Shenzhen, China and PC production still goes on for the Chinese market.
Seems like Chinese. No idea about them. I would rather choose MSI...

I kinda want to jump on this b560 and get a decent 11th gen. Board . Or just get that low end

What msi do you suggest there is too versions. Msi pro-g or pro-e ?

If you go with the 10400f now, it will give you pretty much similar performance to the 12100f. You can upgrade to maybe a 11700k/11900k somewhere down the line, but it will be not be as good as current gen.

You can go with the b660 boards now, you might or might not struggle with your games given your gaming preference/habit. You might have to compromise on performance to run stable FPS. If you stick with the board you can upgrade to a i7 or i9 later with which that board will surely struggle due to more power demand.

These are pretty much the scenarios that I can see. Tough call it seems.

Could not find any reviews. From the specs they look pretty much identical. The G version seems slightly better from the product pages...

If it is the Soyo, in this video, it is a decent option.

Yes it's the one in that video . Should I get it or get a. Msi pro-e ? Or a high end b560

If I get b660 I will be using it with i3 1200 and maybe later upgrade to i5 12400

Or go with high end b560 ?

Now options are narrowed to 2 b660 options

Soyo b660m classic
MSI pro-e

And 4 of b560 the above ones

If you get the Soyo board, make sure to ascertain its warranty/after sales service. Chinese products are pretty tacky to deal with if they break down.
