Help me decide.

Hi ya'll. This is my first post, so hope you can help me out. I am deciding which of two computers to keep. All the specs are the same except for a couple things. I'll call them computer A and B. Both are 6GB DDR3 SDRAM (2 DIMM)

A. 1.9-2.8 GHz AMD Quad-Core A8-4500 M Accelerated Processor. Microprcessor Cache 4MB L2 Cache. 750GB 5400RPM hard drive. Multi dvd burner

B. 2.7 - 3.2 GHz AMD A6-4400M Accelerated Processor. 1MB L2 Cache. 500GB 5400RPM with HP smartdrive hard drive protection. Blue Ray Player.


The Blue Ray player is not on my list of must haves. Don't care either way. I mostly use the computer for searching the web, email, facebook, I use Picasa 3 and some other misc stuff. No gaming. I guess my question comes down to speed. Will there be a noticable dif between the two. Computer A is $379 Computer B is $499

No noticeable difference for your tasks. You get more for your money with A.

Sorry, I mixed the prices up. The 750 hard drive is the 499. price. Does that change your opinion?

The B computer is faster and would not be that noticeable at all but will be in a few years lol, but A if you want to save money. Although if you don't plan on playing games you should look for one with an i3 because they have more CPU power which is better for your needs.

I decided to keep B. After trying both B seemed to be faster for what I was doing. Also had better graphics. Thanks everyone for opinions.
