My x boyfriend is stalking me thru remote access connections on my android phone and on my laptop, help! He made himself administrator of both and computer manager. I disconnected remote access on my computer and now I am locked out of every program! Does anybody know of a solution?

Solution
Easiest way is to re-install both operating systems, make sure to do a full wipe/format before the re-install. If you have data that you need you can find someone to pull the HDD out of the computer and get the data without logging into the OS, I don't know anything about data recovery on an android device so I'll leave that one alone. Good luck.

You can do it yourself but if you're not comfortable figuring it out most computer repair shops have a re-install option although it is a little costly, normally around 100 dollars.

Do you have admin privileges on your account? You can always create a new profile with admin privileges then remove the old ones. For the android, was it rooted or did he just install some sort of RDP or tracking app? It can be as simple as removing the app that he has installed.

Thanks so much, A, I appreciate your quick response. I hate to hear that but I thought a clean reinstall may end up being my most solid solution, ugh! I almost wish I had been doing something worth spying on!

Good luck, let us know how things work out. Make sure to use significantly different passwords and don't base them on anything the ex could figure out. Birthdays, pet names...all that stuff that someone familiar with you could know. If they had that level of access you should consider changing your passwords on all of your accounts.

I wish I knew, Original; but I am with electronic devices as I am with automobiles and I am most definitely an operator-only, I have always just got in, turned the key and enjoyed the drive! I view both my phone and laptop as tool's and I use them for work, I am not a big web browser and I dont spend alot of time in social media, I have had my Google account for 4 years and I just realized it was more than just email!
