Help me figure out a build or Video Card

My Specs: Windows 10
i7-7700k
32gb 2400
120 rad cooling (Corsair)
EVGA Gforce 1060 SSC
EVGA 850 bronze
Should I just build another system (Threadripper?) or would my current system be better
served with a 400 or 500 dollar card? THANKS!!

What do you use your PC for?

Monitor resolution and refresh rate? (if for gaming)

For gaming I would go for a graphics card upgrade.

Threadripper is arguably not worth the money for gaming, since current games won't make heavy use of that many threads, and the 7700K already offers better per-core performance. For other primary tasks, it depends, but in general your current CPU could still be considered reasonably high-end, even if it doesn't have as many cores as the current offerings from AMD and Intel.
