[SOLVED] Help me figure out what to do

I built my pc like a year or two ago and put this memory HyperX Fury 4GB DDR4-2133MHz (HX421C14FB/4) (which i know was a mistake as 4 gigs were not enough and i listened to a guy who "knows") and i wanted to upgrade recently and put more ram and a new gpu.To my surprize this ram doesnt really exist anymore in my country or its very very expensive.What are my options? I know one of them is to sell it and get new ones.

Yes , you should get a new set. Even if you found an identical match , it still might not pair with the older one.

Ram is sold in kits for a reason.
A motherboard must manage all the ram using the same specs of voltage, cas and speed.
The internal workings are designed for the capacity of the kit.
Ram from the same vendor and part number can be made up of differing manufacturing components over time.
Some motherboards, can be very sensitive to this.
Even if you were to be able to find the exact same part number, it may not work.

I like your plan to sell the old and buy a 2 x4 or 2 x 8gb kit.

Thanks everyone for the help! What ram would you recommend though? Is it worth to pay the extra for ddr4 or higher speeds?
