Hello,
I have gta v in which game runs smooth for first 15 mins and then suddenly lags
I read one article on tomshardware
And found that there may be memory leak issue
Here is link to thread - http://www.tomshardware.com/answers/id-2642935/gta-stuttering-lag-time-fix.html
After watching a video on YouTube to fix memory leak I did the process given in this video https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=FQLr1EGzrhc
After doing as given in video I was able to play game for 30mins smooth and then lags again
I want long term effect
And also as given in article (link above) I right now cant afford to change any hardware

My laptop specs

so i checked the temps and these are the temps of CPU and GPU
CPU ---
Before game:- 55C (avg)
During Game:- 62C(avg)(game running smooth)
at time when game is lagging:-63C(avg)

GPU ---
Before game:- 45C (avg)
During Game:- 54C(avg)(game running smooth)
at time when game is lagging:-53C(avg)
these are temps
But i dont think temperature is the issue

Nah, those temps are great. It sounds a lot like the memory leak with Just Cause 3, but worse. IIRC for that one the issue was having a controller plugged in at startup, but I doubt this is the same issue. There is the possibility that it is your drive as well though; if it is exceeding your VRAM/RAM capacity and dipping into your hard drive for resources that will do it. It's pretty much impossible to get real time VRAM usage, but have you tried it on, say, 720p medium settings (or whatever settings are about a step down without putting it all on low so you ensure that the GPU is getting used) or something to see if the issue persists?
