I think Google Image Search isn't great with game screenshots. It helps that I know Falcom games exceedingly well. For the Trails in the Sky three-game arc, I'm at 125 hours, 156 hours, and 80 hours on Steam (the third is a shorter game and is kind of half epilogue, half prologue for the Crossbell and Erebonia arcs.

It seems to be this game, Xuan-Yuan Sword III: Beyond Clouds and Mountains . The main character and the sand/stone graphics are the same, but I don't know about the silver coin count in the bottom right.
I think this Is the closest one. the coins may be only in that scene, Good Work
but can i ask how you find it?

Interesting, I wonder if that is the result of stolen/modified assets.

Even the name is similar.
Xuan-Yuan_Sword is a massive Chinese RPG series that's been around about as long as Japan's The Legend Of Heroes. I don't think they had any need to steal or copy assets.

Reverse image search, first in Google, then in Bing, only investigating those that looked closest. I forget the details now, but I eventually found the YouTube link where you could see the character was the same, and then scanned through until I found the beachy parts that matched.

However, there's something more going on here. More searching (to remind myself how I did it) finds that the background is from a side quest of Xuan-Yuan Sword 3: The Scar of the Sky, originally released in 2000. But the main character sprite is definitely from Xuan-Yuan Sword III: Beyond Clouds and Mountains (you can tell from a few subtle differences), and neither has a coin counter bottom right. It's making the picture you've got look like some kind of asset rip-off of Xuan-Yuan.

Where did you get that picture from?

Ah, well the "sw(or)d3Copy" filename would seem to nail it. It's almost certainly Xuan-Yuan Sword III: Beyond Clouds and Mountains as that was released in 1999 which is what the person who posted it said about their screenshot. The character matches. The location can be seen here in the speed run.

Still don't know about the silver coins, but some things are made to be mysteries.
