Hi there, I have bought a partly built PC from a friend and to finish it off i need a PSU, GPU and SSD. Can someone help advise which are good options? Budget £250-£300 but can go higher for something really good.
I was looking at second hand parts but have been told to stay away - is this the right thing to do?

I currently have:
Corsair Carbide Tower Case
Intel i5 4460 3.2GHz
Coolermaster masterliquid pro 280 64.21 CFM liquid CPU cooler
MSI Z97 PC Mate ATX Motherboard
Corsair Vengence pro 16gb (2 x 8 gb) DDR3-1600 RAM

All to power a 1080p Asus Monitor 144Hz

Have been looking at samsung SSD, a corsair 550w silver rated PCU and a GTX 1060 - but unsure on which exact models to get.

I will use it for gaming. I also would welcome any opinions on anything which i can change to greatly improve my PC. Thanks.

You can change MX500 to Samsung 860 Evo, but it adds cost (or you have to switch to lower capacity model to meet your budget).
