So, I have a budget... and I obviously want to meet it. I have 1.0k to spend... and I want to get a good RGB build. Things I definitely don't want to change in my build are the mobo, I'd prefer to have everything aura compatible because the mobo I'm getting is a asus Maximus 9 formula. I also must get a monitor with 75kHzmin. The mobo beautiful and a must have for me. Other then that I'd prefer trident z RGB and an asus brand GPU.

What I need:
All the stuff for the pc
(Mobo as stated above)
(P400 or... preferably... P400s case by phanteks)
(Including water cool prob 120mm)
(Also including one bequiet! 140mm Pure Wing fan for quiet intake fan)

Monitor (75kHz+ Framerate)

Cheap RGB keyboard (look at part list for a good example)

Here's a part list I have already... https://pcpartpicker.com/list/tFmLxY

I'm ok with like 70$ over max sadly I'm not as tech savvy as I wish I was, I don't know everything. So I need help on bringing this price down

What on Earth is the point of this build? For $1000 you can build a very nice gaming or productivity setup, however what you have for $1300 can be smoked for a whole lot less no matter the task. You can't spend more on a cpu cooler and motherboard (both have zero impact on performance) than you do on your CPU and GPU (very direct impact on performance)

Meets your rgb requirements, and a better gpu that might actually feed 75fps in most cases at max settings

You just can't blow 1/3 of your budget on a motherboard. I've used that board in a build, it's nice, it oced well, it was in a $4500 build, I'd never consider on a build under $3500. For $150 you can get a board that will oc just as well and still look pretty good.

Only issues are 1. The case (400/400s have RGB ambient lights and asus aura/msi mystic light compatible lighting 2. that the mobo is gigabyte... therefore it is using the RGB fusion software... this isn't good because then it almost voids the reason to have trident Z because the g skill software is really bad by itself I know from friends personally experiencing it... they got an asus mobo just for aura. Other then that it's definitely a great list and definitely a start. So thank you.
Do you think a step or so down while still using asus brand? Maybe the hero or one of the regular strix mobos
