Hi folks,

I wonder if anyone can assist me in identifying the model of this screen.

Its currently fixed to a wall within a production area, so we cannot remove it to have a look on the back for a model number or S/N until the line goes down for maintenance, which could be a few weeks.

Not 100% sure whether its a TV or a Monitor, we can;t find a remote at all, and do not see an IR receiver patch on the display, so guessing its probably a monitor.

Here is what i can offer.

It has no branding on the front at all
Its has a black casing
it has a single button in the middle underside of the frame/case next to what was probably an LED

when the button is pressed, it gives two options, power off and source
the options appear with a single press to change option, or press and hold to select
when source is selected it cycles through HDMI1, HDMI2, DP/VGA (unsure as thats the one the mini computer is connected to), a source that appears to be Samsung MagicInfo, then a source that seems to be Samsung Workspace (unsure if these last two were added at a later date)

its 32"/37" roughly (hard to measure from afar)

There don;t appear to be any further options you would expect to find on a monitor such as display brightness, RGB, sleep timer (which is what we need to change). or anything else.

The only other things i'm guessing with, is that its actually a Samsung due to the apps that are on it. Its possibly a corporate/industrial/enterprise type model due to its location.
Also, its very unlikely that its less than 2 years old.

I'm hoping someone might be able to assist me in narrowing down what this display actually is, without me having to take it down to find out.

Many thanks in advance!

You should take it off the wall mount and get your answer on the rear of the panel.

If the model of the TV was easily identifiable, you might want to pass on images of the panel but;
a| that won't help much if it doesn't have any visible mentioning of the model of the panel on the bezel
b| not everyone will have your panel.

My 2 cents.

IR receivers haven't been generally visible on TV chassis for a number of years. IR goes through a lot of plastic types that aren't see through to human vision. You could try a universal remote and see what happens.

If you have access to the smart services on the TV/Monitor should be able to provide you with the model name. Usually under "about this TV"

That or connect it to a PC and see if you can get the model number or device id from device manager.

Samsung makes a dizzying number of display products that fit your criteria.
