sound advice, if you go for a ebay win 10 key--- they go for about 10 dollars. A bunch saved right there.

Well its hard to save you money simply because a lot of prices arent showing .

Assuming this is because youve filtered stuff to amazon becaue you want everything from there?
OOS items wont show prices at all on partpicker then.

I actually dont know anything about amd's GPU's, how does the rx580 compare with the 1060 3gb?

The 580 and 1060 are in the same class. They trade blows game to game. You wont loose anything with the 580, but it should come tad cheaper price wise.

I'd class the 4gb 580 as better than a 1060 3gb personally, on release they traded blows, drivers updates & optimisations have now made the 580 the better card.

Bearing in mind the only cut down on the 580 is half the vram whereas the 3gb 1060 also has 10% less processing power than the 6gb model.
