Question Help me make an informed choice

I have this motherboard https://www.msi.com/Motherboard/Z270-A-PRO/Specification

I hear a new AMD 5000 cpu is almost out and that's my goal is to get it. I don't know much about computers but I do know this:

I just got into color correction and video stuff so I need a fast computer that won't crap out on me. What motherboard would be a really big upgrade from my current one? 64 -128gb ram at least.

What components does your pc have right now?
Do u wish to upgrade something besides switching to RYZEN (like a GPU or a case,sum like that)?

Right now I have a cyberpower PC C series that I bought off amazon like 5 years ago or something like that. My ram is corsair something something 1333mhz I think. I hear ram is at like 3,000? I want to get that upgraded to. My budget is literally going to be piece by piece so perhaps we should start with the tower. Full ATX but what is the most awesome tower out there? Leave plenty of room.

hell yeah.You can make a madness of a pc with that case,also u need to have a lot of money to uflly utilize it.Im talking top of the line specs,full custom liquid cooling loop,custom cables,gpu backplates,monsters of power supplies,tons of storage.Its crazy what u can do with a lot of money.

Coming from a 5 year old CyberPower, you'll need a whole new system.
