I would change the hard drive to a WD Caviar Black 640gb. Seagates have had some problems lately.

Also I would go with a Corsair 650TX for a single 4870. Great deal on that PSU right now. If you are looking to add a second 4870 later go for the 750 or 850.

If you do plan to add a second GPU later, look into the Asus P6T V2 as it is set up very well for dual card solutions.

i7 does not offer good bang for the buck for gaming. A C2D or C2Q would offer the same performance for less.

More info would help; click the link in my sig.

Good suggestions from battlemarz.

theAnimal is correct, but with the i7 build you have a better chance to upgrade the CPU later if you feel like it. If you take his advice I'd suggest Q9550 + GA-EP45-UD3P + G.Skill PI Black DDR2-800 2x2GB.

Case: RC-690, NZXT Tempest, CoolerMaster Haf 932, Antec 902 - it depends on budget and your personal taste.

thanks for all the suggestions guys.

But i m think i m going to stick to i7 :\ its sounds cooler ^^

i need more suggestion on mobo actually.
i have been struggling between Asus P6T deluxe, Asus P6T deluxe V2 , GA-EX58-Extreme and GA-EX58-UD5.

some info so that u guys can give me a better mobo suggestion:

i may OC the i7

most probably only using 1 GPU (Sapphire Radeon HD 4870 1gb)

i want to use it for a long time :\

Pls give me ur priceless advise and suggestion. I will be happy if u write the whole build out :X

Are you in the USA, Canada, UK? We need to know so we can pick a retailer that ships to you.

If you're getting an ATI card and don't plan a very high overclock, then a cheaper MB like GA-EX58-UD3R would do nicely. The others cost more, and a large part of the difference is because they pay nVidia licensing fees to support SLI (i.e. two or three nVidia cards).

Don't worry about wasting our time, we understand money can be tight.

Change up your hard drive to a WD Caviar Black 640GB if you can find them where you live. Larger, faster, and probably cheaper per gigabyte.

I don't know how good that CPU cooler is, but for core 2s I pretty much always recommend a Xigmatek.

Your power supply should be enough for one 4870. If you are apprehensive about it go for a Corsair 650tx. If you are going to possibly add another 4870 later, then definitely get at least the 650tx if not the 750tx.

The 650TX has enough power for two HD 4870 cards, but you'd need to buy molex to PCI-E adapters when you buy the second HD 4870. That's because the 650TX has 2 PCI-E connectors and each HD 4870 needs two connectors. The 750TX has 4 connectors so it wouldn't need those adapters.
