Help me out, does this mobo have this feature?

Hey guys,

Okay before I invest any more time and energy into trying to figure this out, can someone answer a simple question for me? Does this motherboard support eSata in any way?

The case I use has a built in eSata port (I plugged the sata cable coming from the built-in port into a sata port on my mobo). Then a sata to eSata cable from the port to the drive (2TB Fantom Greendrive). That did not work. I also tried using a sata to eSata adaptor. That did not work. I tried quite a few things which I won't get into unless the answer to my initial question is a 'yes'

No eSATA port on this motherboard unless you do an add on card. Go with the V (non LE) and it has an eSATA port on the back -- plus great motherboard, I've done many builds with it.

Alright, can you give me an example of an "add on card"? So I know what to look for.

Yes, that would work, but I would probably just get the V instead of the V - LE.
