Help me pick a good budget PSU?

Depends on what your hardware is. If you have like a GTX 750 Ti in there with an Intel core i7 CPU (one of the powerful ones as I don't know each CPU by heart) 8 gigs of RAM dads are 300 watts won't work and you will need to aim for something like a 500 or a 600 watt. Yes a 750 TI can survive on low watt power supplies but I would not risk it. Talked a friend of mine who works in tech (at a local place called C and P distributing where I'm at) and he told me buying a cheap power supply that lets say is 700 watt is pretty much garunteeed crap. He said you need quality in terms of a PSU which means something that can get enough power to all the compnents without the computer shutting itself down and restarting due to lack of power flow

Okay well that sounds like a beast of a Rig. I would go to around 700 watts or maybe even above. I would suggest maybe an 800 watt.

I would say a 500 or 600 watt psu will be the best option in your case. I would suggest a Seasonic psu. They are just always great quality for a nice price. The Seasonic M12II (modular) and S12II (non-modular) are real winners!

Seasonic, Xfx, Antec and Evga are best ones
can't go wrong with any of them.
