Help me pick a motherboard!

I'm leaning towards the Gigabyte. Opinions?

They both have similar features. What do you like about the Gigabyte better? Seems like the eSata connectors on the back are the difference on the Gigabyte. If you're not going to use them, I'd save the $10 and get the Asus.

Firstly I've always been partial to Gigabyte for having quality products, good customer service, and quick updates.

The reset button on-board is also nice. I also favor the positioning of the fan headers. It would be cleaner inside of my case.

And lastly... The aesthetics. Having a window on my case, I wanted something more appealing than the brown color of the ASUS. (also why I ruled out the option of the Asrock Extreme 4)

Then it's decided?! It sounds like you know what you want. Either would be a good board, but you've provided reasons to support getting the Gigabyte.

Asus P8Z77-V LK had 4+1+1 phase power design vs gigabyte 6+2+1 power phase , and more pottential bigger OC
or ASUS P8Z77-V Pro it will better than both just @ suggestion
