Help me pick between these two motherboards

Ill be using a dualcore cpu 5000+ with it.

Do any of you have experience with the k9n? Space doesnt matter for me. I dont really care of the m2a is a micro, I just wanna know which one is better

Well, in general, I'd prefer Asus to MSI for a motherboard.

Would you also consider an Intel CPU?

Yup, that's about the same thing I've read in a couple of recent reviews for MSI motherboards. Of course, the reviewers put it more gently, as in "urgently needs a BIOS update" or "rollercoaster experience" :lol:
