Hey all. So I am building a new pc. My first rig is amd (fx6300) and that performs well but I want more! My main enjoyment is video games while I do play with fruity loops and wouldn't mind getting into video editing. My build without the motherboard is as follows
i5 4690k
8 gb ram
MSI Gtx 970 gaming
1tb hard drive
256gb SSD
I still need a power supply as well.
And I am not set on the 4690k, I am having trouble deciding wether the i7 4790k is worth the additional 100 bones. Money is of no issue but I am budget minded. My budget for the motherboard is 120-150, but I just do not know anything about them and how well they cooperate with the equipment that I listed (If that even matters). What board would work well with the 4690k and listed equipment? And which board would be optimal for the 4790k and listed equipment? Thank you in advance.
