Help me pick please :D

Hi all!

I have no idea which card to buy, i play runescape nxt and want to play on ultra graphics with at least 60fps. I might play some battlefield 1 and overwatch, popular games.

Here is my current build :

CPU: pentium g4560
Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-B250M-DS3H Micro ATX LGA1151 Motherboard
Ram: Corsair Vengeance LPX 8GB (1 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 Memory
SSD/HDD: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive/ with a 120gb ssd for OS
GPU: Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB Vapor-X Video Card
PSU: XFX TS 650W 80+ Gold Certified ATX Power Supply
Chassis: Thermaltake Versa H22 ATX Mid Tower Case

Some people have suggested the rx 470/480 and i can get a 980 for just about £220.

Any ideas?

A 980 for £220 isnt a great price when you can get a 1060 6gb for £229:

Any card that will do ultra at 1080p will be held back by that pentium GPU.
Dont get me wrong the g4560 is a great entry level bang for buck cpu, but you have to understand its limitations, a g4560 does not equal an i5.

Now with that said you might as well get a 1060 6gb now and deal with the bottleneck in CPU demanding games and then upgrade CPU when able.

Its one of the new Hyper threaded pentiums, its not bad actually. I would use a 1060 6gb on it, the bottleneck in most games will be barely noticable.
