i am an enthusiast gamer and i do some light photoshop, multitasking like opening ps, ai and browser at the same time. and i want to learn some basic 3d (just basic simple 3d like mugs, vases and boxes)
i dont want to OC i really have no idea about that i dont wanna risk my CPU

my starting spec is
GTX 770
g.skills ripjaws 8Gb (4Gbx2)
120Gb SSD
1T black caviar HDD
Corsair CX 650w

im really having a dilemma for my CPU
AMD or Intel
i3,i5,i7 and xeon
FX6300,FX8320 and FX8530

budget is $100-$250

Solution
go with I5-4440-4590
i think you prioritized gaming so i5 will be well for you

for multitasking FX8530 may outperfrom i5 at some point but it isnt big deal because its quadcore can still handle that 2softwares and a browser at good performance

for simple 3ds i5 will be ideal, even you will get into medium 3d redering
or for video rendering. i7 is for heavy rendering

and get a gigabyte, asus or asrock Mobo

for OC youre right it is "do at your own risk"
if youre not well known at OCing better to avoid it
and for the record OCing is not my thing

pick me buddy if i helped you
