[SOLVED] Help me please blue screen

Help me please,

So today i put some extra RAM in my pc and now i have a blue screen and i tried everyting but nothing helps

i hope you guys can help me.

when you say Blue screen, do you mean an error or screen is just blue?

So was extra ram the same as the other ram?

If you didn't have BSOD
Add ram
Have BSOD

we can sort of guess what cause might be

did you try taking new ram out?

MIxing ram sticks that aren't from the same set can lead to BSOD

no and so i think now that was pretty stupid from me

that creates a file in c windows/minidump after the next BSOD

copy that file to documents

upload the copy from documents to a file sharing web site, and share the link in your thread so we can help fix the problem

its my old its a hp compaq 8200 elite small form factor

I don't like that code. As the only answer I have for it is reinstall windows. THere are other answrs but the one that works the most often is a clean install.
Its a sign windows is broken.

Its odd you get it after replacing ram but then... did you unplug PC when you replaced ram?

Win 10 isn't off when you shut down, its sleeping. It saves info to ram so that when you start back up its already half loaded. Thats great but can lead to problems if you unplug PC after its "off". That could be what happened here, it appears parts of windows got broken in the change.

So the ram replacement might be fine, its just windows that isn't.

is there anything on PC you want to rescue?

On another PC, download the Windows 10 media creation tool and use it to make a win 10 installer on USB

change boot order so USB is first, hdd second
boot from installer
on screen after languages, choose repair this pc, not install.
choose troubleshoot
choose advanced
choose command prompt
type notepad and press enter
in notepad, select file>open
Use file explorer to copy any files you need to save to USB or hdd

ONce you copied everything off you need to keep, I would clean install

careful, playing with ram was what corrupted windows.

My thought is by mixing memory of different speeds, the OP will slow down the original faster memory and the mismatch could be causing the problem. Is this a dangerous idea?

perhaps we wait and see if they have any more BSOD as they reinstalled windows to fix the last one. That error they got has something to do with the MBR, as the fixes revolve around fixing it and many of them don't work in my experience. Or for me anyway.
