My laptop Toshiba Satellite L635-SP3001L don´t recognize my new ram memory!!! i'm upgrading from 4Gb(2x2) to 8Gb(2x4).

Specifications:
Operating System: Windows 10 Pro 64-bit (10.0, Build 14393) (14393.rs1_release_inmarket.161014-1755)

Language: Spanish (Regional Setting: Spanish)

System Manufacturer: TOSHIBA

System Model: Satellite L635

BIOS: InsydeH2O Version 2.40

Processor: Intel(R) Core(TM) i5 CPU M 460 @ 2.53GHz (4 CPUs), ~2.5GHz

Memory: 4096MB RAM

Available OS Memory: 3894MB RAM

Your laptop fully supports SO-DIMM 204-pin DDR3 1066MHz (max 8GB)

If your new RAM fits the above specification then you might have just gotten a bad RAM module, it happens from time to time. For troubleshooting the first thing I would try is one 4GB module at a time and see if both will work correctly when booting up. If one doesn't work you'll have found the bad module.

I Know the specifications! but when i put it on another laptop it works! so, i upgrade the bios from 2.20 to 2.40 thinking that this was the issue but nothing!!!!!!
