help me please!

my new hp pavillion 8gb laptop is so slow and i need help removing anything to speed it up please, can u tell me in simple terms what i can and cant remove and how to do it, thanks.

Before anyone can accurately help you, some more information is needed. What OS are you using? What is your laptop's model? Did it just become suddenly very slow, Or has it always been like that? What do you use your computer for? Do you suspect a virus?
If you are speaking of removing programs, windows has a built in tool that would be helpful. Also, a program called CCleaner has a lot of useful tools to clean out a computer, fix registry issues, and edit programs. Look up information about any program if you are unsure if it is needed.

its a hp pavillion 15-n276sa 15.6" laptop, windows 8.1, AMD A8-455M APU (1.6 GHz, 4 MB cache processor, storage 1T HDD, RAM 8GB DDR3L, only had it a few days and always been like this i play online games and the reason i bought this one is my daughter has the exact same make and model and what i play is good on her one but this one just cant seem to cope and is very slow, i dont think its a virus as it has been the same since i purchased it.

Your Laptop has a Radeon HD 7600G graphics processing unit. This has poor performance in video games.

I doubt you have a virus or any issue like that, as the computer is very new. But it is still a possibility. I would run a scan using decent anti-virus software.
