help me please

Bought a new mobo, cpu, and ram to replace my amd setup that fried. Well I used the ram from my amd setup i thought would still be good and it didn't work so I bought new ram and just put it in and I'm getting a dram red light. Took out cmos battery alrdy and took out ram and put It back in but I can't get anything to boot. I tried memory ok on my motherboard alrdy but it just keeps blinking. I have a asus z97-a 3.1usb and intel i5 4690k and kingston fury hyper x model for ram is HX318C10FBK2/16. By putting my old ram into the new mobo mess anything up? I definitely don't see my ram being a problem even though it's not listed in my bios compatible page. Please help pretty soon I'm gonna destroy this 12 day on going problem and buy everythin new.

Okay so I got into bios np and when I click on start windows normally I get a blue screen. What should I do?

Reformatted my hdd and everything worked lol. Just goes to show one corrupted file and it's all over. Thanks for help though
