Help me please

I've been stuck on the failure configuring windows updates( reverting changes do not turn off computer) screen for about two hours now and it still isn't going through but when it very first started I accidentally turned it off before it showed the do not turn off the computer thing and I tried the f11 twice and it showed up once but I couldn't get it to work and then the second time it wouldn't even show up (and keep in mind I had to turn it off twice to try the f11 thing) but I don't want to kill my computer in hopes that the f11 suggestion will work but at the same time.. WHAT DO I DO! (UPDATE) it's been 3-4 hours of letting it process with the booting thing and STILL no luck PLZ HELP ME!!
