Help me please

I got a dell inspiron 14 5000 series. I had someone clear out files. I now cant get back into it. They aren't around no way to get in touch with them. Says go to live.com to fix problem. Live.com says they cant do anything. I changed the password didnt fix it. I'm still locked out. I called computer guys. They said they might be able to reset it. Cost $75 but says didn't know if it would work or not due to type brand etc... So id be out money. Still wouldn't know anything. It stops me when I try to put in password. Any ideas of help would be greatly appreciated.
