I bought a 9600k should I sell it to get 9700k
I game alot and do light work in videos and other stuff
But it's 150$ dollar difference
I'm worried and wanting to sell it because people say it's not good for another 2 years in gaming so what should I do

Not necessary. 6 cores is more than enough for gaming today. For the most part, the extra cores on a 9700k will just sit idle doing nothing. The difference in gaming performance between the 9700k and the 9600k is a couple of percent. So it is only a couple of fps. You cant see the difference between 2 or 3 fps. But you can see the difference in $150.

Use that money and get a better GPU. There you will see a bigger bang for your buck.
