Hi there, I really need some help. I have got a radeon 9200se 256mb graphics card, and it is giving me hell. The computer keeps freezing after a couple of minutes. Have tried new drivers and everything, but it is still unreliable, so I have decided to replace it. I am on a limited budget of around $150, so I hoped someone could recommend a couple of good cards in this range. I have tried looking through the guides, but have ended up confused. I have 1024mb ram and an amd 2600xp. Thanks

First before getting a new card, lets see if we can't fix the one you've got (which granted isn't great).

What are your specs (include motherboard, CPU (already listed), OS, power supply, catalyst version, and what you have turned on/disabled in the catalyst drivers)? When does it crash exactly. What type of crashes?

If you don't want to bother trouble shooting it, then my suggestion for $50 or less, would be a Radeon 9600Pro. For a little more you can have a better card FX5900SE/XT/etc or Non-Ultra or an R9700/9700pro/9800. However you should be able to find an R9600Pro for around $130, which is well under our target. Anything less than a Radeon 9600Pro wouldn't be worth it IMO.
