i have nvdia palit geforce gt420 when i start playing games sometimes my computer shutdown when i touch the gpu its really what are the causes maybe in overheating because of old thermal paste or others?

Yes, very likely the thermal paste has worn off, clean the gpu for any dust and see to reapply thermal paste.
