Help Me shop for a laptop... pls

I am looking to buy a laptop for college. I am currently going to take Web development because I want to become a web developer. Ik now it's embarrassing that I don't know much about computer specs and such but that's why I'm on this forum because I need help. I want a powerful enough laptop that will work for the coding that web developer work with. Yes web developers not designers. I might game a little on it but mostly games like minecraft. Most importantly I want it to be powerful enough to handle wen development.coding and programs. Thanks in Advance. Budget= $600

Something like the 2015 Newest HP 15.6" Premium High Performance Laptop, would do a decent job for you.

Hey buddy thanks so much for the answer. I don't mean to hassle you but would you mind explaining to me the meaning of the specs? Atleast the most important ones. I'm a little skeptical about the 6gb Ram is that good? People have told me that 8gb is standard. Also I've heard people say something about making sure something is quad core or something idk haha.
